Reimagining Wellness and Sustainability at ARCHIDEX 2026

From 29 July to 1 August 2026, the local and international design community gathered at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) for ARCHIDEX 2026. This year’s overarching theme, "The Bold Future," threw down a challenge to the industry: how do we create spaces that cater to a rapidly changing world?

At KIAN, our answer was clear. The boldest future isn’t just about striking, futuristic aesthetics, it is about spatial wellness and planet-first circularity.

The Time Tunnel: A Multi-Sensory Portal to Spatial Well-Being

KIAN’s concept for the booth was built entirely around the narrative of a "Time Tunnel." We designed a transitional experience that transports visitors away from the rigid commercial layouts of the past and into a human-centric vision of tomorrow. To us, the bold future of spatial design is no longer just about striking aesthetics; it is fundamentally rooted in Wellness.

Every element inside the tunnel was engineered to engage the five senses:

  • Sight: Calming colour palette to soothe the nervous system

  • Touch: Natural, organic textures that invite touch

  • Hear & Olfactory:  acoustic harmony and custom ambient scent

  • Taste: curated taste experience in our spaces

By combining these senses, we craft environments that heal and inspire. They are the silent facilitators of our day-to-day health.
