With the launching of our new Brand Promise, we’ve been steadily taking steps to create a Better World for us and future generations. As a global company with many years of serving customers, we want them to know that supporting KIAN is also supporting the preservation of our environment and giving back to our community.
In collaboration with the amazing team at Ole Boleh Productions, we recently released a sustainability video that highlights the story of our KIAN Ocean Plastic Louvre chair and the importance of circular economy. This project is one of our many efforts to educate and shed light on how recycling can have a positive impact on waste management. You can watch the video by clicking on the play button below.
Behind the scenes, we sent a team of our Warriors who were more than keen to be a part of the journey as advocates of sustainability. From the interview recordings to the collection of plastic wastes on a Malaysian beach to observing the plastic recycling process at Heng Hiap Industries, courtesy of Kian Seah, everything was documented in hopes that it will further educate our KIAN Tribe as well as our customers.

"This trip was really an eye opener for me. As an avid scuba diver, I felt really sad seeing all that rubbish and waste on the beach. I'm proud that KIAN is taking on this initiative to use recycled plastics to make our furniture. The process of recycling the plastic was also very interesting and I'm glad I was able to see it."

'Wow, when I saw the amount of plastic trash on the beach, it really made me think. In such a small location there was already so much, can you imagine if it's the whole world.
